Graf von Faber Castell’s production of ink for fountain pens is an art. They are characterised by a special depth of colour and are partially document-proof. The highest-quality dyes are used for each of the various brilliant shades. The outstanding quality is noticeable in the even flow of ink and the fact that the fountain pen writes again quickly, even after long periods of rest.
An ink is described as document-proof (ISO 12757-2) if it is smudge-proof, reproducible, lightfast and waterproof, cannot be erased and is resistant to many chemicals and solvents.
